Terms of Use

Last updated 7 October 2026

The short version. Orbit is a free tracker in beta. Use it to keep track of what you read and watch, be decent, and expect the occasional rough edge. Keep a copy of your data if it matters to you.

These terms apply when you use Orbit (“we”, “the service”). By using it, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

A beta

Orbit is free and still being built. Features may change or disappear, and things may break. We work to keep your library safe, but we can't promise the service will always be available or that nothing will ever be lost, so use Download my data in Settings if you want your own copy.

Who can use Orbit

You must be at least 13, and in the EEA or UK at least 16 or have a parent's consent. You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for what happens under it.

Using it fairly

Please don't:

  • use Orbit to break the law or anyone else's rights;
  • try to get into other people's accounts or data, or around the service's security;
  • scrape, flood or overload the service, or use it to hammer the catalogues it relies on;
  • send spam or abuse through the feedback form.

We may suspend or remove access for anyone who does.

Titles, covers and release times

Orbit doesn't host, stream or link to manga, manhwa, anime or dramas. Titles, covers, scores and dates come from MyAnimeList, TMDB, AniList, MangaUpdates and MyDramaList, and belong to their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB, and Orbit is not affiliated with any of these services. Release times and chapter counts come from these sources and can be late, missing or wrong, so reminders are best effort.

Your data and feedback

Your library is yours. You let us store and process it only to run Orbit for you, as described in the Privacy Policy, and you can delete it at any time. If you send ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Orbit without owing you anything for them.

Ending things

You can stop using Orbit and delete your account whenever you like, in Settings. We may end the beta or the service; if we do, we will give you notice and a chance to download your data where we reasonably can.

No warranties, limited liability

Orbit is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of a free beta service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Orbit develops. We will change the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app first. Questions? You can send a message through the feedback form and choose Privacy.
