Chrome extension
Update your library from any tab without opening Orbit.
The extension puts Orbit in your browser toolbar. Click it on any tab to log a chapter or episode, change a status, or add a new title, without leaving the page you're on.

DownloadInstall it
During the beta the extension isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so you add it yourself. It takes about a minute.
- Download the zip above and open it. You get a folder called orbit-chrome-extension. Move it somewhere it can stay, like your Documents folder. Chrome runs the extension from that folder, so deleting it removes the extension.
- Open a new tab, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter. In Edge it's edge://extensions.
- Turn on Developer mode, the switch in the top-right corner (bottom-left in Edge).
- Choose Load unpacked and select the orbit-chrome-extension folder.
- Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin Orbit so it's always one click away.
- Make sure you're signed in at Orbit in the same browser. The extension uses that sign-in.
Use it
- Library lists your titles, most recently updated first. Search, pick one, then use − and +1 or type the chapter or episode, and choose a status.
- Add new searches every catalogue. Add puts a title in Planning and opens it so you can set your place.
- On this page appears when the tab you're on names something in your library, like “Solo Leveling Chapter 180”. One tap sets it to that chapter or episode.
Changes save as you make them and reach your other devices on their next sync.
Update it
- Download the latest zip from this page and open it.
- Replace the files in your existing orbit-chrome-extension folder with the new ones.
- On the extensions page, click the reload arrow on the Orbit card.
If something's wrong
- It asks you to sign in. Sign in at Orbit in the same browser and the same browser profile, then open the extension again.
- Chrome warns about developer mode extensions. That's normal for extensions added this way. Keep Orbit enabled.
- It disappeared. Check that the orbit-chrome-extension folder is still where you put it, then choose Load unpacked again.
