Getting started
Sign in, add titles and log your first chapter or episode.
Sign in
Open Orbit and choose Continue with Google. Orbit only asks Google for your name, email and profile photo. Signing in is what lets your library follow you between devices.
Add your first titles
- Open search with the magnifying glass at the top of any page, or press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows).
- Type a title. Orbit searches MyAnimeList and TMDB across all five worlds at once.
- Choose Add next to the one you mean. It lands in Planning.
Log what you read and watch
- +1 on Up next logs the next chapter or episode in one tap. A toast lets you undo it.
- Open a title to drag its progress slider, or tap the number and type where you are.
- Logging the first chapter or episode moves a title to Reading or Watching. Reaching the end of a finished series marks it Completed. You can also set Paused or Dropped yourself.
- For a series that is still running, progress stops at the latest chapter or episode that is actually out.
Find your way around
- Up next puts new chapters and episodes first, then what you're partway through, then what you're caught up on and waiting for.
- Library holds everything, by status, world and sort order.
- Releases is a week and month calendar of what you follow.
- Discover suggests titles from what you track. Tick or cross a suggestion to teach it your taste.
- Worlds gives each of manga, manhwa, anime, K-drama and C-drama its own page.
